Educational Farm in the Po Delta – Agriturismo La Fraterna

Agriturismo La Fraterna in Porto Tolle is an educational farm in the Po Delta officially recognised by the Veneto Region and part of the Campagna Amica network.

Our farm welcomes nursery and primary school children for hands-on educational experiences immersed in the nature of the Po Delta. As an accredited educational farm in the Po Delta, we offer activities designed to spark curiosity, hands-on learning and respect for the environment within the Po Delta Regional Park.

The Day's Itinerary at Our Educational Farm in the Po Delta

9:00 AM — Arrival and WelcomeWelcome for the school group and a short introduction to our farm and the day's activities (exact time can be arranged to suit your needs).

A Genuine Farm SnackCarrot cake, bread with home-made jam from our own orchard fruit, juice and water — with attention to any reported food allergies or intolerances.

Farm TourA journey through life on the farm: a close encounter with cows, goats, donkeys, hens, ducks and pigs, discovering their habits and what they eat.

Educational ActivityA hands-on, educational activity tailored by age group:

Nursery schoolSensory experience, observation and direct contact with nature and animals.

Primary schoolA great treasure hunt through farm-themed puzzles, learning while having fun.

12:00 PM — Farewell or LunchThe visit concludes here, or can be extended with a packed lunch or a farm lunch (menu can be arranged) until 2:00 PM.

Our goal is to turn the visit into a concrete, enjoyable and educational experience, where children learn through observation and hands-on participation.

Encourage direct contact with rural life.
Raise awareness of the importance of sustainable farming.

Welcoming School Groups

Our educational farm welcomes both public and private schools, from Italy and abroad. We're happy to work with teachers to design the itinerary best suited to the class, based on the children's age, educational goals and the school's needs.
